Homestay Fees Adelaide
Equivalent to the rent for the first two weeks
Homestay Packages for under 18 (Weekly)
•All fees are denominated in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable, on a per-student basis.
•The Student Application must be submitted a minimum of four (4) weeks prior to the student's anticipated arrival date to ensure the timely arrangement of an appropriate homestay.
•Should a student request a change in homestay accommodation, SGS and the current host family must be notified at least four (4) weeks in advance. A subsequent Homestay Placement fee shall be levied for the facilitation of the new placement.
•A security deposit equivalent to the rent for the first two weeks is due upon the initial payment. Said deposit shall be fully refunded upon the conclusion of the Homestay with SGS, contingent upon the absence of any claims or damages attributed by the host family or relevant third parties.
•A notice period of four (4) weeks is required if a student intends to terminate their stay with SGS. Refunds will be provided for any prepaid homestay fees not yet utilised.
•Once SGS begins to work on your placement, the placement fee will be charged and is non-refundable.
•Holding Fee Clause: In the event a student intends to take a temporary leave for holidays, SGS and the host family must be informed no less than four (4) weeks prior to the departure date. The Holding Fee ensures the reservation of the student's room and the protection of their possessions during their absence.
•All payments pertaining to homestay accommodations shall be remitted to SGS Adelaide in advance of the stay.
•Please be advised that homestay fees and associated rates are subject to periodic revisions and may change without prior notification.
